Day 1: Arrival
Arrival on Maggiore Lake. Accommodation, dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Excursion to COMO LAKE
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a guided visit of Como and its main monuments. The heart of the old town is “Piazza del Duomo” and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore, the historic town hall and the “Torre Del Comune”, a beautiful scene full of art. After that, departure for Tremezzo and visit of the wonderful “Villa Carlotta” of the 17th century. From Cadenabbia you can reach the small charming village of Bellagio, “the Lake Como’s Pearl”. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Excursion to MILAN
In the morning departure for a full day visit of Milan. Milan is one of the most important cities of Italy for its commerce and industry and its banking houses. The world knows Milan as city of the music too thanks to the Scala Opera House and to its Academy of Music. Visit of the city: the Cathedral, one of the most important works of art dating from the Italian ornate Gothic period, the Vittorio Emanuele’s Gallery, the Scala Opera House with its beautiful Square, the Sforza Castle. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Excursion to MAGGIORE LAKE
After breakfast boat excursion to the Borromean Islands: “Isola Madre” and “Isola Bella” with their well-known old mansions and the “Isola dei Pescatori” where you will have the possibility to visit an old and picturesque fishing village. In the afternoon we suggest you to visit Stresa, the Pearl of Lakes and the Park of Villa Pallavicino where you will appreciate its hundred-year-old trees, the beauty of the gardens and flowers and where you will admire the marvelous panorama of the lake and the mountains. Dinner and overnight in a hotel on Maggiore Lake.
Day 5: Departure
Departure after breakfast.
